Our clients opted for the parquet range from the collection. These are either planks or tiles and are 2mm thickness made up of 5 layers including a 0.3 mm wear layer which are thermally pressed for ultimate performance. They are also slip resistant and there’s no need to polish them due to the coating that is put on them!
We started the process of fitting the new flooring by uplifting the old luxury vinyl tiles and removing them and then to prepare the subfloor, new screed was laid across the whole area. Uzin 196 was used which is a cement-based fibre reinforced smoothing compound that shortens the setting time of cement screeds. It will increase the comfort and lifespan of the flooring laid on top. The Polyflor Camaro parquet in Cambridge Oak was then fitted. You can see the stunning results from the photographs included.
