New Cambridge Parquet flooring in Bowden
Bowden Revisited!
Cheadle Floors recently revisited the home of some clients who had previously asked us, as a floor fitter in Bowden, to install some new flooring in the kitchen and dining area of their home. They were so impressed with their new flooring that they decided to have the hallway covered in the same flooring. We were able to source the same flooring and therefore able to perfectly match the existing flooring with the new, creating a seamless link between rooms.
When deciding what flooring to have it’s important to think about the layout of your home. If you are aiming for a more open floor plan then having the same flooring throughout the space will create a clean, continuous appearance. If the space is in an area of high footfall not only do you need the flooring, you choose to be durable but also comfortable to walk on.
Our clients originally chose to have Polyflor Cambridge Parquet flooring which is ideal for a kitchen and dining room as well as a hallway and as a floor fitter in Bowden we are familiar with this range of flooring. Like the other rooms our clients asked for it to be laid in herringbone style. The great thing with this flooring is that it can be laid in many different ways so you can make it that little bit more bespoke to you and we have the flexibility to accommodate your needs. To guarantee a good base for the flooring to be fitted we put down a layer of SP101 ply. The luxury vinyl tiles were then installed using adhesive which covered the plywood and then the new flooring was fitted on top.
You can see the stunning results of this project from the photographs included. It looks as if the flooring in the three different rooms was all fitted at the same time.
