Karndean are manufacturers of Luxury Vinyl Tiles that are suited to both home and business. The particular range that our client opted for is designed to create a temporary floor with a clear variation in design and colour tones. It is manufactured to look like worn pieces of sun-bleached driftwood. While the tiles can be laid in a block design our client chose to have it in laid in Herringbone style.

Before we fitted the Karndean tiles we installed Sp101 Plywood to ensure that the surface was level and in the best condition for the tiles to be laid on. Screeding was also required. Correct preparation of the subfloor is vital as it can lengthen the lifespan of the floor on top, dampen the noise of people walking on it on as well as making the floor more comfortable to walk on.
