With this project, as we were laying over underfloor heating that was already in place, we laid a 10mm screed Uzin NC 196. This is a fibre reinforced smoothing compound which is designed to produce a smooth surface with good absorbency.

Once the Uzin NC 196 had dried, we then cut and fitted the tiles onto a layer of adhesive. We were able to cut up to and around the kitchen units and as well as accommodate the large glass sliding doors. You can see in the photographs attached the stunning results.
