New Luxury Vinyl Flooring in Stockport fitted

Kitchen Transformed with New Luxury Vinyl Flooring in Stockport fitted.

Damp concrete is never the ideal base to lay luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport. That’s because the moisture from the concrete can cause the flooring to warp, buckle or even rot. At the very least the flooring can become loose compromising the structural integrity of the flooring. As a result, any professional floor fitter in Stockport will testify to the fact that, no matter how good the flooring is that is going on top, unless the correct preparation is carried out to the subbase, you can’t expect a quality finish
.
As a professional floor fitter in Stockport, Cheadle Floors understand that preparing the sub floor is a crucial aspect of the installation process. It will ensure that the flooring laid on top is stable, durable, long lasting, and comfortable to walk on. It’s for this reason that we never rush a job.

As a floor fitter in Stockport, we recently installed new luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport in the kitchen of a house. The previous builder had fitted flooring over damp concrete, so we had to rip this all out and start again. We disposed of the existing flooring, so our clients didn’t have to worry about this.

The first part of the installation process was to fit a layer of plywood and then cover this with a layer of resin based waterproof membrane. We then applied a further layer of smoothing compound in order to level the floor. Once this had set, we were then able to fit the luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport. Our clients chose California Oak luxury vinyl tiles from the Brampton Chase range. You can see what this looked like from the photographs included.
