Cheadle Floors recently completed fitting new carpet in the lounge of a house in Stockport. We started the process by removing the existing flooring and clearing the floor of any debris so that we had a clean surface to work on.

We fitted new grippers and 10mm underlay before laying the carpet. Our clients chose to have Mount Everest soft saxony carpet in a dark grey colour. Everest saxony carpet is a robust carpet but has a soft feel underfoot. A saxony carpet is a cut loop pile carpet. The long pile is designed to be very dense for the ultimate luxurious feel underfoot, making it a popular choice for bedrooms and living rooms.

When fitting the carpet, we were able to cut the carpet up to and snugly fitting around the skirting boards. You can see how the room was transformed from the before and after photographs.
