New Karndean Flooring Fitted in Wilmslow

As Karndean Fitters in Wilmslow, Cheadle Floors recently completed fitting new Karndean flooring in a kitchen and conservatory in a house in Wilmslow. Our clients opted to have Karndean wp311 Grano which is from the Opus Wood Collection. This particular LVT flooring creates a really contemporary feel to a home with its clean grey wash timber look.

This kind of LVT flooring can provide a modern look to any room. It has the versatility to be combined with a pop of colour, or for a completely different look a monotone style. This Karndean LVT Flooring is ideal for a kitchen and other living areas in the home, so the flooring was perfect for the purpose needed in this instance.

As with every project that Cheadle Floors undertake, we started the process by removing and disposing of the existing flooring and ensured that we had a clean working space by removing furniture etc.

Based on our years of experience as floor fitters, we then fitted the underlay and, in this instance, we used sp101 plywood. This has been specifically made for the purpose of flooring underlay and is quality assured for subfloor preparation. As professional floor fitters we always use a quality underlay which ensures a good surface for the top layer of flooring to be installed onto making it more comfortable to walk on and also increasing its longevity. As experienced floor fitters, at Cheadle Floors we always recommend having an underlay as it guarantees a professional finish and while it might initially cost a little more to fit the new flooring, in the long term it cuts down on cost.

We then fitted the Karndean LVT flooring and tidied up while the work was being carried out as well as once it was completed. You can see the stunning results from the photographs included.
